Research vision

My research investigates the design, experience, and futures of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled interactions, ubiquitous environments, and human–machine integration systems. I create and study novel interactions that support embodied, reflective, and exploratory engagement, with the aim of shaping inclusive, collaborative, joyful, and sustainable ways of living with technology.

I currently work across the below three areas:

Novel interactions with emerging technologies
Creating multisensory and multimodal systems, alongside design methods and guidelines that encourage experimentation and futures-oriented design.

More-than-human design
Supporting relationships within entangled human–machine–nonhuman systems to foster relational, responsible, and sustainable approaches to technology design.

Body-centric computing
Developing interfaces that centre the body as a site of performance, augmentation, and play to support new forms of human–machine integration.
